What's Included
Course Description
The Pack is the application toolkit of the Metanoia career system — The Pack. Once you know yourself (The Map), the next challenge is presenting that self with precision, strategy, and confidence to the hiring systems and people who determine your professional future.
This course takes you through nine structured modules covering every layer of the application process: understanding how modern hiring actually works, crafting an ATS-optimised CV and LinkedIn profile, mastering psychometric tests and FGD/LGD simulations, preparing for case interviews, using AI tools to build and optimize your entire application suite — and the professional etiquette that separates candidates who get remembered from those who get overlooked.
The Pack ends where the human conversation begins. Everything here is designed to ensure you reach that conversation in the first place.

Assignments 2–9: locked — complete each module first.
How Hiring Actually Works
Before you can navigate the hiring process, you need to understand it. This module dismantles the misconception that job hunting is a matter of luck and replaces it with a clear map of how modern hiring actually works — from application submission through to job offer. You will leave with a personal job search system and a targeted readiness plan.
Application Submission Strategy — LinkedIn, CV, Resume & Cover Letter Development
Your documents are your proxy in every room you have not yet entered. This module covers the complete application document ecosystem — the golden rules of professional presentation, LinkedIn profile optimization, CV structure and writing, resume tailoring, and cover letter strategy. By the end of this module, your documents will be doing the work that most candidates leave to chance.
Screening Test Preparation — Psychometric & Aptitude Test Simulation
Psychometric and aptitude tests eliminate a significant percentage of candidates before any human interaction takes place. This module introduces the full spectrum of screening assessments used by leading global and multinational employers — including numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning, personality inventories, and the TPA — and gives you structured preparation strategies and timed practice simulations.
FGD / LGD Role-Play Simulations
The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) are among the most feared — and most winnable — stages of the modern recruitment process. This module teaches you exactly what assessors are looking for, the frameworks that structure winning contributions, and gives you repeated practice through realistic simulation scenarios.
Internship and Full-Time Application Strategy
The strategies for landing an internship and a full-time role are different — but both require deliberate planning. This module covers how graduate and internship recruitment programmes are structured, how to build a targeted application strategy for each, and the mindset shifts required to navigate early career decisions with clarity rather than anxiety.
Administrative Screening Strategy — ATS & Application Optimisation
Most applications are eliminated by software before a human ever reads them. This module unpacks how Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) work, how to optimise your resume to pass automated screening, and the administrative best practices that prevent perfectly strong applications from disappearing into the black hole. The mindset of the technically precise applicant is as important as the technique itself.
Becoming a High-Impact Candidate Through Case Interview Practice
Case interviews are the standard evaluation method for consulting, finance, strategy, and management roles — and they reward a very specific combination of structured thinking, communication clarity, and professional composure. This module introduces the complete case interview ecosystem: frameworks, preparation methodology, and realistic practice cases with model answers.
AI-Powered Application Tools
Artificial intelligence has changed how the strongest candidates build and optimise their applications. This module teaches you how to use AI tools to write and refine your CV content, check your ATS score against real job descriptions, personalise cover letters at scale, and conduct deep company and role research before you apply. The goal is not to outsource your application — it is to make every document sharper and every company choice smarter.
Professional Etiquette
Professional etiquette is not about formality — it is about demonstrating that you understand the unwritten rules of professional environments and can operate within them without needing to be taught. This final module covers workplace communication standards, business etiquette across contexts, and the executive presence habits that distinguish candidates who are remembered. It closes with a hand-off to the next stage of your climb.
The 13 stages covered in this module: Application Submission → Administrative Screening → Online Assessment → Written Test → Case Study → Focus Group Discussion (FGD) → Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) → Technical Interview → HR Interview → User / Final Interview → Medical Examination → Job Offer & Hiring → Probation. Each stage has a dedicated preparation strategy. Each stage is a filter. Understanding all of them changes how you approach the entire process.
Recruitment Journey Map & Readiness Sprint Plan
Assignment BriefCreate a personalised end-to-end recruitment journey map for your target industry. For each of the 13 hiring stages, document: what the stage evaluates, what the key preparation requirement is, and your current readiness level (1–5 scale). Then, using the job search system from Lesson 1.3, build your 8-week readiness sprint plan: identify your top 3 preparation gaps from the readiness assessment, set a specific weekly action for each gap, and define what "ready to apply" looks like for your target role. This becomes your personal preparation radar and campaign launch pad.
LinkedIn Profile Sprint + CV First Draft
Assignment BriefPart A: Apply the LinkedIn optimisation framework from Module 2 to your own profile — submit a before/after screenshot, your revised headline and summary, and a brief explanation (150 words) of the specific changes you made and why. Part B: Using the CV development framework, draft your current CV with at least 3 quantified achievements, following the golden rules; submit the CV + a 200-word reflection on your decisions. Part C: Write a tailored cover letter for one specific role you intend to apply to in the next 30 days, applying the cover letter strategy framework from Module 2.
Psychometric Practice Assessment + Performance Reflection
Assignment BriefComplete the timed mock psychometric assessment provided in Lesson 3.4. Then write a structured performance reflection covering: (1) your scores across each section and how they compare to the benchmarks provided; (2) the specific question types you found most challenging and why; (3) your preparation gaps identified from this performance; and (4) your targeted 2-week preparation plan to close those gaps before your next actual test.
FGD / LGD Simulation Video + Assessor Self-Evaluation
Assignment BriefRecord a 4–6 minute video of yourself responding to the provided FGD scenario topic as if you are in a real FGD session — introduce your position, structure your argument using one of the frameworks from Module 4, address potential objections, and close with a synthesis. After recording, self-evaluate your performance using the assessor rubric provided in the module: score yourself across the five assessment dimensions and write a 200-word reflection on what you would do differently in the next session.
Internship or Graduate Application Target Map
Assignment BriefBuild your personalised application target map for either an internship (if still studying) or a full-time graduate role (if recently graduated). Your target map must include: (1) a list of 10 specific target companies, each with a brief rationale; (2) your target roles at each company and the application window / cycle timing; (3) your positioning statement — how you will present yourself differently for each company tier; and (4) your 8-week application campaign plan with weekly targets. This assignment is a living document you will continue updating throughout your job search.
ATS Optimisation Audit — Before, After, and Score Report
Assignment BriefRun your CV (from Assignment 2 or your current CV) through the ATS optimisation tool introduced in Module 6, against the job description of one of your target roles. Submit a three-part report: (1) your initial ATS score + the specific gaps identified by the tool; (2) the specific optimisation changes you made — keyword additions, formatting changes, section restructuring — with a brief rationale for each; and (3) your revised ATS score after optimisation + a 200-word reflection on what the experience revealed about how your documents are currently positioned.
Live Case Interview — Video Submission + Framework Documentation
Assignment BriefSelect one of the three case study scenarios provided in Lesson 7.4. Record a 5–8 minute video of yourself walking through the case as if you are in a live interview — structure your approach aloud, apply the relevant problem-solving framework, state your assumptions explicitly, and clearly articulate your recommendation. Alongside the video, submit your written case map: the one-page framework you used to structure your analysis, with your key findings, assumptions, and recommendation documented — mirroring what you would write on a whiteboard in a real case interview.
AI Application Optimisation Portfolio
Assignment BriefUsing the AI tools from Module 8, complete a three-part AI application sprint for one of your target roles. Part A — CV Optimisation: run your CV through an AI writing and review tool, document the 5 most significant improvements suggested, implement them, and submit the before/after comparison. Part B — ATS Score Report: run your optimised CV against the job description of your target role; submit your ATS score, keyword gap analysis, and the changes you made to improve the score. Part C — Company Research Brief: use AI tools to build a 300-word research brief on your target company covering business model, recent news, culture signals, and one specific talking point you would use in your cover letter and interview.
Professional Introduction Video — Executive Presence Demonstration
Assignment BriefRecord a 2–3 minute professional introduction video as if you are introducing yourself for the first time to a senior hiring manager at your target company — at a formal interview, a career fair, or a networking event. Your introduction must demonstrate the etiquette principles from Module 9: a confident but not overconfident opening, appropriate professional register, clear structure (who you are, what you bring, what you are looking for), active listening cues, and a strong professional close. After recording, complete the executive presence self-assessment rubric provided in Module 9 and submit a 150-word reflection on what you will refine before your next professional interaction.
